For WVU’s defense to meet Holgorsen’s challenge the DBs have to step-up. While WVU is turnng the ball over they are not taking the ball away via turn-overs. The other issue WVU going into this game is penalities. WVU has to keep penalites down, and the DBs need to get interceptions, while the DL and LBs cause and recover fumbles.
I look for Marcus Simms to fumble one or more times. Ever since last season Simms has had a habit of fumbling the ball. One thing for sure is we don’t want to see QB Jack Allison in the game. He has came in twice to replace Grier and has turned the ball over both times. Grier has thrown 3 interceptions in as many games.
This game will be a battle and for WVU to win they have to limit TTU’s trips to the endzone, by stopping TTU’s passing game, and reducing TTU’s rushing yardage.
