WVU Football – #54 Safety Dayron Wilson
WVU adds another safety to the mix, with Holgorsen handing Dayron Wilson a scholarship at the end of practice on Saturday, Aug 2. According to Holgorsen, Wilson made some really good plays during practice of which included: An interception and stopping Wendell Smallwood in the backfield for a loss.
Drayron Wilson is a 5’11”, 204 lbs redshirt junior
Here are Wilson’s stats thanks to WVU Sports:
2013 (Jr.)

2012 (So.)
– Played linebacker for coach Mark Duda at Lackawanna College
– All Northeast Conference First Team
– Two-time All-Northeast Conference Player of the week

While watching the video did you see how quick he was and how sure he tackles. Here is another WVU Safety that is in the mold of Karl Joseph, K.J. Dillion, and Dravon Henry. I do expect us to see him on the field this year.
I really like the direction the recruiting is going and talent they are bringing in.
GO EERs!!!
