WVU FOOTBALL: 2015 RECRUITS
WVU’s 2015 Recruiting class is ranked 26th among all Division I colleges!

If you look at the list about you’ll see the following states:
- 7 are from Florida
- 3 are from Maryland
- 2 are from Ohio
- 2 are from West Virginia
- 1 is from New Jersey
- 1 is from North Carolina
However, the positions that are missing from these list are tight ends and defensive linemen.
The only tight ends I’ve seen with an offers from WVU are
- Amir Ealey 6’4”/ 225 Coatesville, PA Interest is Medium
- Keanu Kalawaia 6’2”/ 245 Oakland, CA Interest is Medium
The only defensive linemen I’ve seen with offers from WVU are:
- Neville Gillimore 6’3” / 303 Caterines, ON Interest is Cool
- Tim Settle 6’2” / 307 Manassas, VA Interest is Cool
If all 16 of the current commits sign their letters of intent that leaves nine scholarships open. WVU really needs to get three or four players for the defensive line, and they need a least one tight end out of the 2015 recruiting class.
It would also be wise for WVU to get another cornerback, and a defensive end. If there is one position WVU needs to recruit for the 2015 recruiting class it would be, in my opinion, defensive linemen.
I was out on the recruiting board when writing this article and there is really nothing out there. The defensive linemen have for the most part committed elsewhere.
If I were a high school coach and I have a defensive lineman that was big, fast and with some talent, and who was coachable, I’d be submitting his video to WVU. This could be an offensive lineman I have that could be moved to defense. However, WVU may prefer to go the JUCO route to fill this need.
And this is what WVU may have to do. They may have to recruit offensive linemen that they can move the defensive line.
Quarterback wise, WVU looks pretty good for the next few years. WVU’s 2015 spring practice should be fun to watch with Crest, Chugunov and Sills competing for the starting QB position.
I’ve watch the videos on these guys and I’m impressed with all three for different reasons. Crest is already on campus and practicing and Chugunov and Sills will join him in January after graduating high school in December.

As a WVU, I’m definitely look forward to seeing some of the spring practices. This will be fun!
GO EERs!!!
