WVU Coach Holgorsen Says Team is Ready
In his interview at the Big 12 conference, WVU head coach Dana Holgorsen expressed confidence that his Mountaineers are ready to be competitive in 2014.
He also talked about his faith in the leadership and playing abilities of senior quarterback Clint Trickett, as well as his stable of running backs and a much improved secondary. Holgorsen also singled out defensive backs Daryl Worley and Karl Joseph for praise.
Coach Holgorsen pointed out how a lack of experienced depth cost WVU several games last year that could have gone either way. That should not be the case this year.
Several freshmen were thrown into the fire last season when starters suffered injuries and the results were obvious. Those players are now sophomores and know what it takes to compete in the big 12.
The coach pointed out that WVU has 55 players with experience playing against Big 12 competition. He obviously expects this year’s team to be much improved over last season.

First off I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question that I’d
like to ask if you don’t mind. I was curious
to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing.
I have had trouble clearing my mind in getting my ideas out
there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15
minutes are usually wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips?
Thank you!
